Celebrating accomplishments

  • Congratulations to Master of Education student Keisha Deoraj, recipient of the 2019 Graduate President's Award of Excellence in Student Leadership! The Student Leadership Awards of Recognition acknowledge and celebrate students who demonstrate exemplary leadership practices that align with the university's values.

Graduate Student Council and Ontario Tech Student Union

  • Your Student Union and Your Voice! Have your voice heard at the annual Ontario Tech Student Union (OTSU) Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, October 23 at 7 p.m. in the Business and Information Technology Building (UB), Room 2080. Campus announcements and events

  • Find out what’s happening on campus with our new mobile app! Download Ontario Tech Mobile to access your course information, weekly schedules, grades, holds, records, Blackboard, student email and more. Never miss a beat with opt-in notifications and personalized event calendars.
  • National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, observed every October, is a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure everyone has the resources they need to stay safer and more secure online. This year's message is "OWN IT! SECURE IT! and PROTECT IT!"
  • Open education is an amazing and chaotic concept that challenges traditional notions of who creates knowledge. On Open Educational Resources (OER) Day (Friday, November 1), all members of our Ontario Tech teaching and learning community are invited to consider how open education extends beyond cost savings for students, to learner empowerment and engagement.

Money matters

  • Student Awards and Financial Aid (SAFA) is currently confirming enrolment for fall OSAP. Be sure your course load matches your application—if not, this will delay the release of your funds. Make updates with SAFA.
  • Visit the SAFA website for OSAP information, budgeting tips and financial literacy advice.
