SGPS updates

Thesis and Projects/Papers

  • If you're in a thesis-based program, at some point you will need to plan for your defence! It can be overwhelming figuring out form and submission deadlines so we have created thesis calculators (master's version and PhD version) to determine when tasks should be completed in order to defend your master's or PhD by a particular date.
  • Are you defending your thesis in the Fall 2019 term? Once you have successfully defended your thesis, you must formally submit an approved thesis package to SGPS. Thesis formatting, submission procedures, helpful resources, deadlines and conditions can be found in the Graduate Academic Calendar or on the master's or PhD thesis web page.
  • If you're completing a master's project or major paper, resources and deadlines are available on our website.

Student Life

  • Student Mental Health Services has an opportunity for grad students to be a part of student wellness in a mental health peer support role. This includes one-to-one meetings with students, outreach and administrative tasks. Learn more and apply.
