An important notification about Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions and reviewer availability over the summer and fall months:

The REB receives a high-volume of submissions from June to November and experiences a shortage of REB reviewers due to planned absences, which may result in extended review turnaround times. In preparation for the peak submission period, researchers are strongly encouraged to submit their applications early or during non-peak periods to minimize unforeseen project start up delays, if possible. If you require assistance with your submission or would like to receive a REB consultation, please feel free to contact the research ethics team (researchethics@ontariotechu.ca).
